These are some speculations about possible destinations for the Safari:
1. La Notte – The city at night.
2. Bon Voyage – Fremantle Port.
3. Lunacy – The full moon landscape expedition.
4. Menagerie – The zoo.
5. A Long Way to Fall – Top of a skyscraper.
6. This Mortal Coil – A cemetary.
7. The Architectural Void – Interior of some very large building.
8. The Mob – Somewhere where there is a crowd.
9. Arriving/Departing – Perth Train Station.
10. Busker – Daring to draw portraits on the street.
11. Spirit World – Drawing what is not there.
12. Synethesia – Drawing on sound.
Please add your comments and suggestions.

Suggestion for a Safari could be Perth International airport; although there would be a parking fee, there could be an organized car pool. I have visited the airport in previous times for the atmosphere of planes landing at night; there could be some interesting captures of moments.

The airport was one I was considering. A night time visit sounds interesting. I wonder if it could be a good location for the Lunacy expedition. I’m having trouble coming up with good locations for that.

A bit of legwork has been done to find some new locations. The moonlight expedition (Lunacy – the first fit) is now loosely scheduled for 7.30pm on Thursday 13 November. The location is still in the air. I am trying to decide on the best conditions. eg street lighting, distant or near objects, urban/rural. Suggestions are welcome. The session is not likely to be very long ending about 9-9.30pm.

Maybe an idea would also be for an “Exquisite Monster” landscape session. As in surrealist methodology only applying it to drawing from nature.

I’m going to do a couple of virtual drawing sites soon too. We’re going to meet on and off this world for a drawing session.
